Our approach
Germany alumni have excellent professional and language skills. They live all over the world and work in a wide variety of professions and fields. Young graduates, experienced managers, teachers, engineers, artists or emeritus professors - the diversity of biographies and skills is impressive.
They remain eager to learn and to further develop their skills throughout their lives. At the same time, they are committed citizens who are willing to share their expertise with others and give back. The Alumniportal would like to facilitate this exchange of knowledge amongst alumni. With our events and learning formats, we bring together alumni who share their expertise and knowledge and exchange views on important topics.

Topics
The selection of topics is based on the interests and needs of our members. In addition to German learning opportunities, you will find learning content on topics such as career management, science communication, social entrepreneurship, academic and specialist topics, and many more. Our members can also suggest topics on which they would like to exchange ideas with others - as potential speakers or as listeners.
Formats
Many of our digital learning formats take place synchronously as events. Since speakers and participants come together virtually in real time, these learning formats are particularly interactive and enable an exchange across national borders and time zones.
Our events are supplemented by so-called on-demand content, such as texts and exercises, recordings and seminar documents, articles, podcasts, infographics, etc. This content has the advantage that learners can access it at any time and over and over again.
