Mennatullah is an interdisciplinary urban planning Assistant Professor who works at the intersection of cities, technology, and justice, with a focus on sustainability, visualization, digitalization, communication, and mediatization. She is currently affiliated with Ain Shams University in Cairo, Impact Circles e.V. and the Center for Advanced Internet Studies. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt in 2012, she received a Master of Science in Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design (IUSD) from with a double degree from Ain Shams University in 2015. In 2021, she completed a Ph.D. from the faculty of Planning Building Environment at the in Germany.
Connecting the dots, she today is a multipotentialite working at the crossroads and intersections of diverse disciplines. generally aims at inspiring sustainable and equitable urban futures. She achieves this by attempting to link three knowledge domains: (1) technology, urban AI, and smart cities; (2) environment, sustainability, and climate mitigation; and (3) feminist and critical urban geography. She is keen to intersect these three fields with other themes such as sustainability management, startup incubation, consultation, fundraising, research, and innovation.
