Idea in a nutshell

The goal is to motivate immigrant women who have already shown their initiative through the entrepreneurship they have practiced in NYC in the USA to become literate in English, as they acquire the ability to read to their children books (English children's books and bilingual Spanish/English books) their children will love to hear and learn to read on their own. Most of them have come to the USA to build better lives for themselves and their children. To build English language skills among women, children, their families and communities, I need English and bilingual children's books for direct distribution. The effort would be even more effective, if IPads loaded with bilingual software, stories and games could also be distributed to such families with children entering the public schools.

Expectations from the challenge

I would be very happy if my idea would meet with the right wolf pack and if it would create more awareness. Or feedback from students and trainees on whether the idea would be a suitable solution for them…
