Science has established beyond doubt that the window for action regarding climate change and its effects is closing rapidly. At a critical moment for global transformative climate action, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the 28th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP287) in November and December 2023. COP28 claims to deliver on an ambitious agenda and to be inclusive, transparent, pragmatic, and results oriented.
