SDG Alumni Project TROPENTAG 2025

The DAAD has open the call for an SDG alumni project: Knowledge and Practice for Development for Germany alumni from the Global South as part of TROPENTAG 2025 - interdisciplinary conference on research in tropical and subtropical agriculture, natural resource management and rural development.

In the framework of this project, Germany alumni from the Global South take part in a one-week specialist/training seminar at a German university/research institution, which is thematically orientated towards the main topics of Tropentag 2025. This will be followed by a visit to the TROPENTAG conference (September 2025, Bonn) organised and separately funded by the DAAD.

By participating in this project, German universities and research institutions will have the opportunity to present their expertise and research achievements internationally and to establish valuable networks with alumni and experts from the Global South.
